Lisa Grimenstein
Copyeditor and Proofreader
An avid reader and well versed in the Chicago Manual of Style, she has an eye for detail and makes it her goal to reflect that in her work. She strives to preserve each author’s individual style and has enjoyed working on books by such authors as Max Lucado, Eric Metaxas, Sheila Walsh, Sally Clarkson, and Stephen Mansfield.
Lisa lives in Middle Tennessee with her husband and four sons. When she is not proofreading, she is reading, homeschooling her children, and serving in her church.
Lisa is a freelance copyeditor and proofreader who specializes in non-fiction and has done extensive work on cookbooks, gardening books, devotionals, and biographies. Over the past decade, she has worked on over 300 titles for multiple clients, including Thomas Nelson, Cool Springs Press, and Grandin Hood Publishers.
After moving to Nashville from northern Ohio to attend college, Lisa graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in education and spent several years teaching before beginning as a proofreader for Thomas Nelson in 2006. During this time, she also served as the co-creator, writer, and editor for the online magazine for teen girls, Pierce My Heart. She is currently the editor for Middle Tennessee Homeschool Education Association’s bi-monthly publication, Jonathan’s Arrow.
