Mary Hollingsworth

Mary serves as Creative Enterprises Studio's president and publisher. With more than thirty-seven years' experience in publishing, a business degree from Abilene Christian University, and masters' work in Mass Media, she has filled a variety of responsible roles.
To book buyers and the reading audience she is the well-known best-selling and award-winning author of more than one hundred fifty books. You might recognize such works as Hugs for Women, Just Imagine! with Barney the Dinosaur, The One Year Devotional of Joy and Laughter, Hugs for Kids, My Little Bible, The International Children's Story Bible, Just Between Friends, and many others.
To publishers Mary is a highly effective managing editor, book compiler, production editor, substantive and copy editor, cover copy writer, and other duties. Her work includes supervising the editorial processes and production of more than two hundred titles, including numerous award winners by such authors as Max Lucado, Charles Swindoll, Women of Faith, Billy Graham, John MacArthur, and many others.
Mary has received numerous publishing and literary awards through the years. Recognized as Outstanding Alumnus of Abilene Christian University for her lifetime contribution to Christian publishing, she was also awarded the Howard Books/Simon & Schuster Spiritual Development Award. She has received the ECPA Gold Book Award twice and the ECPA Platinum Book Award twice. Her children's book, Polka Dots, Stripes, Humps 'n' Hatracks was named one of the C. S. Lewis Top Ten Favorite Children's Books. Her book The First-Time Author's Survival Guide (2022) was named the Finalist for the 2022 International Book Awards. She has also been awarded the Outstanding Services Award by Christian Women in Media. And in 2018 she received Global Media Summit's Platinum Award for Outstanding Communication.
