Elisabeth is a freelance copy editor and proofreader who has worked for multiple Christian publishing companies on both fiction and nonfiction books. As of June 2017, she has copy edited for more than two years for Random House among other companies. Elisabeth gained extensive knowledge of the quirks of the English language as she prepared and edited scripts for CNN, Headline News, and CNN.com in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, she also shared her love of language as a teacher in a Christian middle school classroom for four years.
She graduated summa cum laude with her undergraduate degree in political science and film/television from the University of Notre Dame and holds a master’s degree in education from Lipscomb University. Elisabeth lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and two daughters. She loves running, cooking, and introducing her girls to her favorite childhood books. She is passionate about storytelling, which comes across in her meticulous attention to detail and the enthusiasm she exhibits with each and every project.
