Becky Danley

Becky Danley is an experienced editor of academic, fiction, and nonfiction books. She began her editorial career by working for two marketing and advertising companies. After several years of working within the corporate structure, she decided to take her expertise into the arena of freelance by becoming an independent contractor while developing her own business under the name of Professional Literary Services. She has been providing freelance services for several publishers who value excellence in their finished product, including Zondervan, HarperCollins, Baker, and Focus on the Family (Cook).

While thoroughly enjoying projects of fiction and nonfiction, Becky especially appreciates the detail required for academic and Bible projects. She has worked with many well-known authors: Joni Eareckson Tada, Lee Strobel, Bill Hybels, and Rick Warren in trade books. Titles include A Case for Christ, Purpose Driven Life, When God Weeps, and many novels. Academic works attributed to a host of theologians include Moises Silva, Douglas Moo, D. A. Carson, Leon Morris, and many more. Works include The NIV Pictorial Encyclopedia of the Bible, 5 Volume Set; NIV Atlas; numerous commentaries, including the BECNT, BTCB, BCOTWP; many theological textbooks in the scope of Interpreting the Pauline Epistles, Historical Theology, Understanding Biblical Theology, Exploring Psychology and Christian Faith, Reading Koine Greek, Introducing the New Testament: Enhanced iBook, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, An Introduction to the New Testament,A Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans. 

Each project is a new adventure, but more importantly it is an opportunity to participate in a call to ministry by providing excellent literary works that promote the full counsel of God's Word. When it is possible to get away from work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband. They have two sons and daughters-in-law as well as six grandchildren. She enjoys directing small musical groups and choirs whenever possible as well as putting musical arrangements together.
